Barbieri Abbate
Barbieri Abbate is a boutique barbershop located in the heart of Barcelona. They were looking for a digital space that reflected their bold, classic Italian identity — not the default pink Google-generated site that didn’t fit their brand at all. I provided design concepts that aligned with their vision and strongly advised integrating an online booking system from the start. Why? Because research shows barbershops risk losing up to 46% of their bookings if they don’t offer online scheduling (BookedIn, 2020). I also referenced key findings from Keap, which highlight what small business owners value most in a booking platform: Calendar management (36%) Automated reminders (21%) Resource planning (20%) Taking this data seriously, we implemented a system that answered both the business’s and customers’ needs — with real results. Today, Barbieri Abbate has grown into a thriving team of four, has been featured in Dear Magazine, and is even endorsed by Michiel Huisman.
