Hi, I’m Frank van Mourik — born in 1996, currently living in Eindhoven. Since 2020, I’ve been working full-time as a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist. In simple terms: I improve websites so more people do what you want them to do — like making a purchase, signing up, or getting in touch.

My CRO journey started at Accenture, where I combined my background in web development and design with a deep focus on user behavior and data. I worked on large-scale optimization projects for major clients like Vodafone, Shell, de Bijenkorf, and De Friesland. I was often brought in to solve very specific issues and help streamline processes — and the more impact I made, the more energy I got from it. Especially when I could oversee the full process from insight to implementation.

Common tasks included conducting expert reviews, analyzing behavioral data, mapping customer journeys, designing new solutions, and even developing them directly — all with one goal: improving performance.

After a year, I was approached by Startselect, Europe’s largest gift card e-commerce platform, and offered a unique opportunity to set up their CRO process from the ground up. A full A-to-Z optimization challenge — one I couldn’t resist.
